Play N Trade Names Roger Lloyd New CEO

November 23, 2007 - Play N Trade Franchise, Inc., one of the fastest-growing franchises worldwide, today announced that Roger Lloyd has been named the new CEO. He replaces Yuvi Shmul, who will remain on the board of directors.

Lloyd’s combination of video game industry and retail expertise is ideal for leading the company to the next level by strengthening partnerships and launching initiatives to extend brand awareness and increase market share. He previously served as co-chief operating officer for Play N Trade, and was one of the first Play N Trade franchisees, where he worked closely with founder Ron Simpson to perfect the business model. He has shared his expertise as a panelist at industry conferences and tradeshows.

“Our franchisees are the key to our phenomenal growth and success,” Lloyd said. “The Play N Trade culture focuses on gamers, and we deliver an exceptional customer experience that can’t be found anywhere else. The market response has been tremendous and continues to gain momentum.

“We now have more than 100 stores open across the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and Guam, and I look forward to working with the franchisees as we introduce new products and programs that will enhance our status as the destination of choice for gamers. This will be an exciting time for the Play N Trade family as we continue to make major breakthroughs in the marketplace and expand our global footprint.”
